# ERM-1007

> Marketo's rate limit was reached

## What happened

Marketo temporarily limited API calls (per-20-second limit, daily quota, or concurrent request limit).

## Common causes

High reply volume, or other tools sharing the same Marketo API quota.

## How to fix

Usually nothing. If it happens often, check your daily API usage in Marketo (Admin → Web Services) and whether other integrations are using most of the quota.
