# ERM-1011

> No matching Marketo lead found

## What happened

Marketo returned no lead for the reply's email address.

## Common causes

* The lead was created very recently. Marketo can take a short time before new leads show up in lookups.
* The person really isn't in Marketo, or is under a different email address.
* The action is set to "update only", so allGood won't create a new lead.

## How to fix

If the person should exist, check Marketo for them. If it's fine for some replies to have no lead, turn on "skip if not found" for the action, or use "create or update".

## Will allGood retry?

<Note>Yes, because Marketo sometimes reports "not found" for leads that do exist.</Note>
