# Checks before a page goes live

> Which checks run when you publish a landing page, which ones stop the publish, and how to fix each.

When you publish, allGood checks the page. Most checks **warn** and let you continue. A page you can't publish is worse than a page that's missing a social image tag. Only a problem that would put a broken page live stops the publish.

| Check | What it looks for | What happens | How to fix it |
| - | - | - | - |
| **Missing reference** | The page points at an asset that doesn't exist, such as an image or a download | **Stops the publish** | Restore or replace the asset, or ask Mary to remove the reference |
| **Address already in use** | Another page serves at the same address | **Stops the publish** | Ask Mary to change the slug |
| **Search tags** | The page title, description and social sharing tags are present | Warns | Ask Mary to add the tags that are missing |
| **Tracking tag** | The page loads the allGood tag | Warns | Ask Mary to add the tag. Without it, visits aren't tracked and a form on the page does nothing when submitted |
| **Unregistered form** | A form on the page isn't published yet | Warns | Publish the form. See [Creating a form](https://docs.allgoodhq.com/mk/content/forms/creating-a-form.md) |
| **Component match** | Each section still has the shape of the library block it came from | Stops the save, or warns if your team is in advisory mode | See [Page components](https://docs.allgoodhq.com/mk/content/landing-pages/page-components.md) |

> A page with an unregistered form publishes, but the form won't capture anything until it's published too. Check the form before you share the link.

## Checks you do yourself

allGood doesn't check pages for accessibility problems, and it doesn't warn about third-party fonts or tracking pixels. Review these yourself before publishing.
