# Visual assets FAQ

> Short answers to common questions about visual assets in allGood.

> [accordion] What image formats can I use?
>
> Images Mary generates are PNG, JPG or WebP, and she picks the format. An image you bring can also be an SVG, such as a logo. See [Visual assets](https://docs.allgoodhq.com/mk/content/visual-assets.md).

> [accordion] Can I use my own image instead of generating one?
>
> Yes. Attach it in Workshop and ask Mary to save it as a visual asset. See [Visual assets](https://docs.allgoodhq.com/mk/content/visual-assets.md).

> [accordion] Can one asset hold more than one image?
>
> No. An asset is one image through all its versions. For a second image, make a second asset.

> [accordion] Where does my logo go?
>
> Add it to your [brand guideline](https://docs.allgoodhq.com/mk/content/brand-guidelines.md). Use a visual asset for an image that a specific email or page shows.

> [accordion] Is a PDF a visual asset?
>
> No. A downloadable file, such as a whitepaper, is a different content type.

> [accordion] Can I choose the image's address?
>
> No. allGood sets it when the image is first published. It stays the same across versions and after a take down.

> [accordion] What happens when I take an image down?
>
> The address stops showing the image. Any page or email that uses it shows a broken image until you publish it again. Every version is kept, and the address doesn't change. See [Visual assets](https://docs.allgoodhq.com/mk/content/visual-assets.md).

> [accordion] Can I resize or convert an image?
>
> No. One image serves as one file.

> [accordion] Can I test two images against each other?
>
> Not on the image itself. You can test two [pages](https://docs.allgoodhq.com/mk/content/landing-pages/testing-versions-of-a-page.md) that each use a different image.

> [accordion] Can I use an image I already host?
>
> Yes. Register it as an external image. See [Using an image you host elsewhere](https://docs.allgoodhq.com/mk/content/visual-assets/images-hosted-elsewhere.md).
