Before a page can capture anything, the form has to exist in allGood as an asset — the fields it collects, the consent it records, and its capture settings. That authoring happens in Content, not here.

Forms

Define what a form collects and the consent it records, then publish it to register it.

What you need back

Whoever creates the form owes you two things before the steps in this section will work.
1

The form's short id

An eight-character id like f7k2m9qp. It goes in the data-ag-form attribute on your markup, and it is what the capture endpoint is addressed by.
2

Confirmation that it is registered

A form has to be registered, not just created. Capture fails closed: an unregistered form id is refused, the same as an unknown one. This catches people out, because a form can look finished in Content and still not accept anything. Ask for confirmation rather than assuming.
You now have a registered form and its short id, which is everything you need to wire it into your page.
Neither of these is something you can set from the website side. If capture is being refused and the id looks right, registration is the first thing to check — see Troubleshooting.

Then wire it up

Install the tag

One script tag, once, on any site you capture from.

Capture a form

One attribute connects markup you already have to the registered form.
