What your key is used for
Workshop (Ask Mary) needs your key. Workshop chats that use a Claude model always run on your key. Without one, they won’t start. Other AI features use your key if you have one. If you haven’t added one, they fall back to a shared key that allGood provides. Workshop chats that use a different model don’t need this key. A chat on an OpenAI model, for example, uses the key on the OpenAI card.Prerequisites
- Access to Integrations in allGood’s settings
- An Anthropic account that can create API keys, or someone on your team who has one
Add your key
1
Create a key in Anthropic
Sign in to the Anthropic Console and create a new API key. Copy it somewhere safe, since Anthropic only shows the full key once.
2
Open Integrations
Select the gear icon in the top bar, then select Integrations in the sidebar.
3
Expand the Advanced section
The Anthropic card isn’t in the sections shown by default. Scroll down, select the arrow next to Advanced, and look under Advanced Integrations.
4
Install Anthropic (Claude)
On the Anthropic (Claude) card, select Install.
5
Paste your key and create the integration
Paste your key into API Key, then select Create Integration. Before saving, allGood sends a short test message to Claude to check that the key works.
Replace your key
Open Integrations, expand Advanced, and select Edit Settings on the Anthropic (Claude) card. Paste the new key into API Key and select Update Integration. allGood checks the new key the same way, and the change takes effect within a minute. Once a key is saved, allGood only shows it as dots. If you’re not sure which key is in there, create a new one in the Anthropic Console and replace it.Add the new key in allGood before you delete the old one in the Anthropic Console. If you delete it first, Workshop chats that use Claude stop working until the new key is in.
