If you know Marketo, you already know most of what Marketing Kernel (MK) does. The names and the layout are different. This page maps one to the other.

The biggest differences

  • Mary builds, you review. You give her a brief and she builds the motion. You change things by asking, not by clicking through an editor.
  • No folders or token inheritance. Shared details, like a webinar’s date and join link, live on one asset that every email points to. Change it once and everything follows.
  • One answer to “why did they get this?” Every send and every move is logged with its reason. No digging through smart campaigns.
Some Marketo features don’t have an MK equivalent yet, including engagement programs, progressive profiling on forms, and A/B variant reporting. Ask your allGood team about workarounds.
