The allGood Marketo MCP server lets you work with Marketo directly from Claude Desktop: look up programs, emails, forms, and templates, clone campaigns, and upload assets to Design Studio. This setup takes about 5 minutes.

Before you begin

You’ll need:
  • Claude Desktop installed (macOS or Windows)
  • A Claude plan that supports custom connectors (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise)
  • An allGood account with access to the Marketo integration
  • The allGood Marketo MCP server URL: https://api.allgoodhq.app/mcp/marketo
Custom connectors aren’t available on Claude’s Free plan, and may need to be enabled by a workspace admin on Team or Enterprise plans. If you’re the admin, start with Roll out the Marketo MCP to your organization. See Anthropic’s Get started with custom connectors using remote MCP if you run into an issue that isn’t covered here.
Already see allGood Marketo in your Connectors list? On Team and Enterprise plans, your admin may have added it for everyone. If it’s there, skip ahead to the Connect the connector step.

Steps

Open connector settings

  1. Open Claude Desktop
  2. Click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner and select Settings
  3. Go to the Connectors tab

Add a custom connector

  1. Scroll to the top of the Connectors list and click Add > Add custom connector

Enter the connector details

  1. In Name, enter allGood Marketo
  2. In URL, enter https://api.allgoodhq.app/mcp/marketo
  3. Click Add

Connect the connector

  1. Find allGood Marketo in your Connectors list and click Connect

Authorize access

  1. In the browser window that opens, log into your allGood account
  2. Review the requested permissions and click Allow
  3. When the browser window closes, check that the connector status is Connected

Enable the connector in a chat

  1. Start a new chat in Claude Desktop
  2. Click the tools icon below the message box
  3. Confirm allGood Marketo is toggled on for this conversation

Test the connection

Ask Claude something like:
“Using allGood Marketo, look up the program details for [program name].”
When the connection works, you’ll see Claude return Marketo data for the program you asked about. allGood Marketo also shows Connected in your Connectors list.

Optional: Allow allGood’s API domain for image uploads

This step is only needed if you want to use the Marketo MCP’s image upload capability (uploading assets to Design Studio). Everything else — looking up programs, emails, forms, and templates, cloning campaigns — works without it.
Claude limits which outside domains its file and code tools can reach. Image uploads to Design Studio need api.allgoodhq.app on the allowed list. Only Team and Enterprise Owners can add domains, so ask your admin. Admins can find the steps in Roll out the Marketo MCP to your organization. Pro and Max plans can’t add custom domains.

Troubleshooting

Check that your browser isn’t blocking pop-ups, then retry.
Click Connect again and re-authenticate — your allGood session may have expired.
Make sure the connector is toggled on for the current chat (see Enable the connector in a chat). It’s enabled per conversation, not globally.
Custom connectors require a Claude plan that supports them (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise) and may need to be enabled by your workspace admin. Admins can find the steps in Roll out the Marketo MCP to your organization.
Confirm api.allgoodhq.app is on your organization’s allowed domains. Only Team and Enterprise Owners can add domains, so ask your admin. Claude blocks image uploads until the domain is added. This doesn’t affect any other Marketo MCP functionality.
