In Marketo and HubSpot, you build a landing page in the platform’s editor, from a template, and the platform renders and hosts it. In allGood, you describe the page, Mary builds it, and allGood hosts it. Same goal, different way of working.

At a glance

The Marketo and HubSpot column is general platform knowledge. Details vary by edition and setup.

What changes in practice

  • There’s no editor to open. If you’ve always nudged a button in the editor, you’ll now ask Mary, or use Edit Source if you know HTML.
  • A page can’t use a person’s details. Marketo and HubSpot can fill in a known visitor’s name. An allGood page is built once, before any visitor arrives. Use an email, or a form, for that. See What a landing page is.
  • One subdomain does more. Your landing page subdomain, your tracking and your email links share one connected subdomain. See Coming from Marketo.
  • Your old pages don’t move on their own. If you’re moving pages over, your developer will handle the old addresses. See Retiring your Marketo landing page subdomain.
